2. Standard Orders: Sample Sales & Ready-Made Garments

This section applies to any finished, pre-made garments purchased directly online via our website, including the Archive Sample Sale collection.

  • Product Descriptions: Every archive and ready-made item is unique. We make every effort to display fabric colors, measurements, and garment conditions as accurately as possible.

  • Payment: Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase via our secure online checkout.

Returns & Refunds for Ready-Made / Sample Sales:

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to change your mind regarding online, ready-made purchases.

  • Condition: The garment must be returned to our studio unworn, undamaged, in its original condition, and with any tags attached.

  • Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item securely. We highly recommend using a tracked shipping service.

  • Refunds: Once the garment is received and inspected in our studio, a full refund for the product price will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.

  • Note: Optional, post-purchase custom alterations carried out on these garments at your request are non-refundable.

3. Custom Orders: Bespoke, Made-to-Measure, & Restyling Services

This section applies to any garments that are custom-designed, drafted, hand-made to your specific body measurements, or existing garments that undergo major restyling/alterations in our atelier.

Strict No-Refund & Final Sale Policy:

Because bespoke and restyled garments are entirely personalized and custom-made to your unique physical measurements, they cannot be resold to anyone else. Therefore, all sales for Bespoke, Made-to-Measure, and Restyling services are strictly final.

  • We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges on any custom commissions or alteration services once work has commenced.

Order Cancellations During the Process:

When you commission a bespoke piece or restyling project, we reserve studio time, purchase premium luxury fabrics specifically for you, and begin drafting your unique pattern.

  • Cancellation Terms: If you choose to cancel your bespoke or restyling order at any point during the design, drafting, fitting, or sewing process, you are still contractually required to pay the full price originally agreed upon for the commission.

  • Any deposits or milestone payments made up to the point of cancellation are strictly non-refundable, and any remaining balance will become immediately due to cover the cost of specialized labor, lost studio time, and materials used.

4. Intellectual Property

All designs, patterns, sketches, photographs, and text displayed on www.elenamilani.com or created during the bespoke process remain the sole intellectual property of Elena Milani Ltd. You may not replicate or use our designs for commercial purposes.

5. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
